Here we are, two months deep into the Covid19 pandemic, with no clear end in sight. You've already read a ton of articles about small businesses across the country that rely on groups of people gathering, and how the social closeness industries have collapsed. We're no different, but there's no collapse on our horizon. Until we can do shows again, we're temporarily becoming a full time media company with a focus on artist visuals, including music videos, merch, etc. First on deck, peep the music video for future.exboyfriend's dreamy, spaced out banger "love.me"
The first time I heard this song, my immediate thought was "why haven't i heard of this dude sooner?" To be 100% honest, this is not a genre that I actively listen to, but I found myself smoked out, nodding my head and singing along to this even as I was piecing together the first rough cut of the video. His voice caught me off guard at first, but within a couple seconds I was locked in and hyped to create something with someone making such interesting art. Even now, a few days after the final piece was sent off, I'm still finding myself randomly singing "tunnel vision baby eyes on the priiiize" during the day.
I'm consistently blown away by how many incredibly talented artists SLC has tucked away in all corners of all genres, and future.exboyfriend is definitely up there as one of my current favorites. Follow him on TWITTER, SPOTIFY, and INSTAGRAM, and peep the video below:
